Hi All,

First time posting - I was trying to get some help for a friend who is trying to improve his weight / fitness.

He is currently 95kg (15 stone) and disappointed at having only lost 3kgs in 3 months. He is currently running Monday - Friday every night - 5km twice and 3km three times. He travels a lot with work and has long hours - so tends to eat late - 9:30 - 10PM ish. This meal tends to be meat or fish with salad.

I wanted to see if there was a way to lose more weight because for me - he should be loosing a lot more than that. He has access to a gym - I suggested mixing in a basic weights session one or two times a week - concentrating on reps not weight. Also maybe trying to eating small meals more regularly and a larger breakfast. Aside from this maybe some higher intensity running as at the moment its more jogging.

he currently lives in Brazil and is about 175cm - 5 foot 9 inches. He does not drink at all in the week - but drinks normal amounts of beer on the weekend and bbqs are very common place in Brazil.

Any advice suggestions would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Paul

Look at his diet that is most likely the prpblem. Also if he has not get him lifting weights 3 times a week.
