Hello Everyone,

I am new here. I have been doing bodyweight exercise like pushups and hindu squats. Started weight training two months ago. I have one problem though. My shoulders are somewhat in forward position, its rounded. So what should I do to correct this posture. Please guide me as I have read that wrong posture can lead to injuries in the long run.

Can you workout in front of a mirror. Mainly form and posture just take practicing good habits. Lift les and lower reps until you can maintain proper form.

Thankyou Geezer. But I want to know if there are any specific exercises/workout pattern that will rectify the round shoulder problem.

The posture in your picture looks fine. If you can't maintain that posture you are lifting too heavy. You won't find specific exercises to correct improper posture. Yoga may help a bit but if you have been lifting only a short time, the most important thing you can do is lift only as heavy as you can while maintaining proper posture.
