I tried the Wii fit when i was 60 lbs over and it did not help. It seems to be more for entertainment than anything else. The best way to lose weight, in my opinion, is to watch what you eat and exercise. The diet is the most important part. Remember you need to eat less calories than what you burn. I.E. more calories out than in.

Your weight could be an issue why you have back problems. I had the same problem with my knee. It would kill me to run. I have lost 30 lbs and now it doesn't hurt to run. So I am assuming you are in the same senerio. I would recommend to start off easy. Try to do more cardio and watch what you eat. You can also try lifting some light weights. if it causes you pain i would stop and try something else.

Keep in mind that this is my opinion and I am not a doctor.
