  I have been a swimmer all my life, and even swam all the way through college. When I finished with it I figured the bulk in my arms would go down, but now they jsut look fat and big. I am scared to do any lifting because I dont want to build the muscle again. Are there any tricks to getting long lean arms?? Thanks!

  Lean arms? They look bulky now cause they are fat. Lose body fat, lift weights and they will get leaner. Contrary to common belief you will not build bulke LEAN muscle like you fear.

  OKay well thank you for pointing out my fat arms. I guess my real question would lead me to ask how to lose weight on my arms then? most of my body gets skinny but my arms are like the last to go. Why is that?

  Simply put that is the way your body losses fat. best thing to do is to get a good diet plan in place....not a starvation one but a good healthly one. and then add in a weight training program....
