gee don't know the times i've heard or said that one.i guess i know i cana lose the weight but rather turn it to lean muscle (kinda like weighing around 250 just wish and will make it happen to become muscle one day).all the people i have met here seem to make me feel as though i'm not really fat more like in the middle of a transition to becoming the muscle clad viking of old world tales.

Cranky will pass, vikingchild. If it gets too bad, put on those funny horns you guys wear and have a run at my buffalo.

Seriously though, hang in there, you will be surprised at the results and how quickly the time passes. Are you sore today??

Small steps, small goals. Set these for yourself..be realistic about them. Reach each one, they add up to the big one you want in the end. Everyone, and I mean everyone, whether skinny trying to gain(this can be just as hard believe it or not), or heavy trying to lose, this is the way to approach things. Take "give up" out of your vocabulary. You can do this, we are here to support and help you. Read the posts on here, the success stories. It does work. Congratualtions to you for your healthy lifestyle choice.

One note, you cannot turn fat into muscle, or the other way around. You can on the other hand lose fat and displace it with gained muscle. This is your objective. Can't wait to hear you start posting your successes.

i'm must be one of the lucky ones, because drinking beer doesnt effect my weight. i have no problem losing weight if i drink beer once or twice a week. its the late night eating that's the killer. has anyone ever really come up wiith a healthy food that tastes as good as a hamburger or bbq?
