i have heard so much good things about creatine, i have heard people gainin weight and strength like crazy but latly i have started to sence some new things about creatine, since it has only been out for awhile creatine might be another number 1 sellin suppliment which we might find out that it will increas's the chance of cancer by 20% in like a few years... you know where i'm goin with this?

no one knows the long term effects,,, thats why i did not do the loadin part and i only take like 2 grams a day and i take a week every 3 weeks off and a month every 2 months off... it really doest matter how much you gain size if you might loss all your hair in like 10 years or you get cancer (i'm just making it up and i do not have any proven information)

a few days ago i saw this thing on the news as well, they were talkin about how creatine might be dangeros which we aren't aware of it yet, and how it might increas the chance of cancer and heart attack...

tell me what do you think boys.. *and girls ofcours

remeber why would you want to MESS UP inside, just to look good out side?

Well if you ever watch Dateline, there is not one thing on this earth that does not cause cancer. Basically we are all Fuc***! Whatever! They even say that too much orange juice will cause cancer. The point is... we all die from something. Do you all know anyone that has never died from anything? I dont. Yes there is talk about creatine. I work at GNC and i hear about it all the time from all the "Dateline Moms". The real concern is on the liver. I take cell-tech witch is 10g of creatine per serving. Just drink lots of water. try to pee every hour and a half or two. With everyrthing that you take in your body, just drink water so you can get rid of what you dont need. So i would try the recommended dosage (even load) and if it works then great! and if it does not then stop cause you dont need it. Just use it correctly, back in the 50's steroids were being used by lots and they were healthy, no chipmunk faces and bloated bellies, then these 1980's wierdos came in and started doubling and tripling dosages and bam! They are illegal now cause why? Who actually thinks that 900mg of Sustanton 250 is good? I mean they weere leagle till what? 1974? Im rambling now. If creatine works for you take it. If not dont. -snow

I'll add my $0.02 in. I was always hesitant to use the stuff too. I did a little research on creatine (as well as other supplements) and found out that its some of the best stuff you can take. I didn't pay much attention to the supplement companies claims of awesome results; I looked at the research from hospitals, universities, and independant labs. What I found was incredible. Doctors actually prescribe creatine to those who are prone to heart disease. It helps prevent against congestive heart failure. I, for one, am totally for the use of creatine. Used correctly and with an excellent diet, it can (and has) help yield gains beyond normal expectaion. The only negative about creatine is that it can damage the kidneys, but mainly in people with existing kidney problems. Those without kidney problems can still have negative effects from creatine if they do not keep themselves properly hydrated. There has been speculation that mainly college students who consume alcohol and creatine have a much higher risk of kidney damage. That makes complete sense, though. Just drink plenty of water, eat right, and you won't have a problem.

I will have to tend to agree with Paul. I have done a little research myself. The body itself knows what it is doing. Yes, it can put undue stress on the liver and kidney functions and that is why LOTS of water is needed. Creatine, like other supplements do not make your muscles grow, they aid the body in its growth. Everybody's chemistry is different and a lot of changes in our bodies are affected by psychological factors. No one here is a chemist or a doctor, if you want to know the real facts, consult your doctor, that is what I would do.

try it out for at least a couple months. You'll know if it's right or wrong for your body. You know you better than anyone including doctors. Good luck dude. I would go with the liquid for the ease of use also.

I have to agree with merlinhog,

a doctor can only warn you .

You should try it out for yourself - there is no immediate danger to your body. Many people make great - safe - permanent gains with the use of creatine.

Good Luck.
