Movement Execution:

Explanation: This exercise is perfomed in hanging position. Grab hold of the bar ahead or branch if you care to use one. Let your legs hangs straight down; if they are too long, then bend them at your knees. Now, keeping your body absolutley still, raise your legs, keeping them straight infront of you. Hold and contract your abdominals. Slowly lower your legs back to the hanging position, stretching your abdominals in the process.

Helpfull Hint:

As with all abdominal exercises, it is very important that you use strict and proper form to achieve results. There are many variations of crunches, all targeting different areas of your abdominals. This exercise is not for the beginner. Do not swing! It is a little tricky to gain your balance, but when you do so this exercise will do you wonders. Remember with all abdominal exercises that breating in as you relax and out as you contract is also very important! Train hard!
