Is there any way to shrink or reduce a specific muscle? I am 18 and pretty thin, but for whatever reason the muscles on the side of my hips (tensor fasciae latae, I think) are disproportionately large. This wouldn't normally be a problem, except that it makes me look like I have really wide hips, and being thin the look is exaggerated even more. So I was wondering if there's any specific stretch, exercise, or whatever that might make these muscles get a little smaller.

Thanks!

You have an interesting problem! The only way that I know to shrink a muscle is to not use it... not exactly what you want to do! The best thing I can recommend is to work out the surrounding muscles to "even out" your look. You can also try light toning excercises to tighten things up a bit.
